Chroma Speckled Pitcher - Green by Casa Cubista

The Chroma Pitcher is a large and colourful two litre pitcher that will brighten up your table whilst holding your drink of choice. A beautiful handmade terracotta jug, this bright and fun pitcher with an eye-catching spatter pattern in two shades of green will give your table setting a nice lift. The large pitcher also has a distinctive and very effective spout that makes pouring your water or other refreshing beverage a less challenging and more enjoyable task.

Designed by Casa Cubista, a company passionate about contemporary design, craftsmanship and Portuguese heritage. The ceramics range is all made in the coastal town of Olhao in Portugal by a family that been in the pottery business for 200 years. Ruis throws the pottery on his wheel before it is hand painted by his aunt Regina. Bold and colourful the Chroma tableware collection brings together traditional craftsmanship with modern designs and makes a nice change to the more muted tones and simple designs usually seen in tableware. 

Before first use, wash the pitcher with hot soapy water, rinse well and allow to air dry. To maintain the integrity of the pitcher (i.e. glaze and colour) it is not recommended that the pitcher is used in a dishwasher or microwave. As each piece is handmade there may be slight changes in each piece and slight colour variations, which is indicative of the material and the handmade process. Some marks in the glaze are natural and expected, as is some crazing. This will not affect the use or durability of the pieces.
