Hex Champagne Flutes - Pack of 4 by HUTA

£40.00 - Sold Out

Inspired by the geometric shapes of 1950s and 60s architecture, these fantastic champagne flutes are simple and elegant. Stemless, with a narrow and tall form to help retain the carbonation of champagne and sparkling wine, they are designed to look great and make champagne taste even better!. The angular flute helps to regulate the oxygen-to-wine ratio to make your champagne or sparkling wine taste delicious. These visually striking Champagne glasses are designed in England and handmade in the South-East of Poland, a region renowned for beautiful glassware. The Hex Champagne Flutes are made from thin soda-lime glass by expertly skilled glassblowers, due to the fact they are handblown tiny variations can occur between glasses. The glasses are perfect for celebratory occasions or just to toast making it through another day. The flutes are from London based contemporary glassware brand, HUTA. HUTA glassware ranges are created to three criteria. They must be beautiful, they must be functional and they really must not cost the earth. The glasses are sold in packs of four and can be put in a dishwasher although they will retain their shine and last longer if washed by hand in warm, soapy water using a non abrasive sponge.

HUTA was started by Inez Kochanowicz-Watson and her husband, Jack. Together, they design glassware for the home, from glasses and carafes to storage jars and milk jars. Every HUTA design is distinctive and unique, which is particularly difficult in such a crowded category. Jack and Inez work with a small, family-run glassblowing business in the south of Poland to turn their designs into beautiful and functional products. The word HUTA means factory in Polish. More specifically, it’s a factory where material (metal or glass) is melted to be formed into products.

The Huta designs are influenced by everyday life, mixed with inspiration from the things around us that we know and love. The geometric beauty of brutalist architecture. The timeless functionality of traditional storage vessels. The elegant restraint of classic Scandinavian design. Huta's mission is to combine all of their experience and knowledge into honest and unique products that tell a story and excite their customers.
