Glass Tumblers - Pack of 6 (Small) by Orskov

These fantastic little glasses are from the Danish design collective, Orskov. The small glass tumblers can be used for a variety of drinks from juice, water, tea and coffee to spirits or wine. We love the simple understated design of these everyday glasses which are all individually blown. We have been using them here at Such & Such for the last few years and they have become a firm favourite. They make great everyday wine glasses, as they have a nice thin rim to drink from and rather than having the faff of having to hand wash wine glasses at the end of an evening, you can just stick them in the dishwasher. You can even use them for puddings or as glass ramekins as they are made using borosilicate glass. Borosilicate glass you may remember from school chemistry lessons as it is the glass that laboratory beakers are made from due to its heat-resistant properties. This means that, whilst they may look delicate, they are quite durable and are both microwave and dishwasher safe. They can also be used with boiling liquid or put in the freezer without risk of breaking. Due to the fact these glasses are handmade and not mass produced, small imperfections might appear in the glass but as with all things handmade, this is what makes them so beautiful. The glassware is sold in packs of six glasses and we offer the glasses in three sizes, small (180ml), medium (300ml) and large (500ml). This small glass tumbler is ideal for juice, water or wine.
