Stoneware Spoon Rest - White by Clod & Pebble

Ah the mighty spoon rest! An essential for those that like to cook. These simple white ceramic spoon rests will not only look great on your kitchen counter or island but, most importantly, they will help to keep the kitchen surface clean and free from those sauce covered stirring spoons. Each ceramic spoon rest is made by hand on a kick wheel using a stoneware clay and then finished with a beautiful white glaze. The spoon rests also feature a section of curled lip on which to place the cooking spoon while it rests. Made by Christopher Viviani of Clod & Pebble, a trained sculptor whose ceramic ware is a step away from the mundane and lifeless mass produced tableware often seen. Instead, Christopher's work is a celebration of individuality and uniqueness. Christopher believes the right piece of tableware can change your relationship with food and increase your pleasure of eating.
