Dança Terracotta Bowl by Vicara

The Dança Terracotta Bowl is a magnificent, limited edition, hand painted bowl. The full name of this large terracotta bowl is Pezinho De Dança, meaning "Dancing Feet" in Portuguese. A work of art, the unique bowl looks fantastic whether as a display bowl on a side table, a fruit bowl in the kitchen, or for serving food in and making a beautiful and intriguing feature on your table.  

Made by talented artisans in the Alentejo region of Portugal, each of the limited edition bowls, limited to just 40 bowls in the first edition, is individually made and then hand painted by Rosa Mira with an illustration designed by Mariana Malhão. Once painted the bowl is glazed, preserving the artwork and protecting the terracotta. The stunning Pezinho De Dança Bowl forms part of a collection of terracotta homeware products that are hand painted with illustrations designed by Portuguese artists.

The handmade bowl measures 25cm in diameter by 7cm in height, making it a large bowl that is original, beautiful and practical. The bowl would make a very special, unique handmade gift. As each bowl is individually made by hand there may be slight changes in each piece and slight colour variations, which is indicative of the material and the handmade process.
