The Long Wallet by Such & Such is a long slim wallet designed for both men and women who like to carry a bit more than our Leather Wallet allows. The outside is simple, no pocket, no logo just one large and beautiful piece of veg tanned leather. On the inside there are two large slip pockets, located behind the card slots and zip pocket, giving you plenty of space for your notes and receipts but also allowing you to fit your mobile phone (iPhone XR and smaller phones) or passport. This makes it a great travel wallet for those that regularly fly. The zip pouch can carry your coins or other things you like to keep zipped up and the eight card slots, each of which can fit two cards, allowing you to carry up to 16 cards. Our subtle logo sits on the bottom right card slot.
The design is simple and classic, it's all about a practical wallet made from beautiful leather. Whilst looks and features are important to us so is ensuring they are were well made and environmentally considered. Our leather wallets are handmade by leather artisans in Leon, Mexico, an area renowned for its leather craftsmanship. They take pride in their work and have developed their skills over many years. For the leather, we chose a top grain vegetable tanned leather that is tanned for 60 days in a tannery that is Gold Medallion Rated by the Leather Working Group, an international organisation whose mission is to promote sustainable and environmental practices within the leather industry. Vegetable tanning is the least environmentally impactful tanning process as it utilises the tannic acids naturally found in some trees and plants rather than the harmful chemicals used in the more popular, faster and cheaper, chromium tanning process. Whilst much more expensive veg tanning also results in rich natural colours, warm tones, high durability and strength, plus that famous leather smell and all-important patina.
Our leather goods are made for men and women with an appreciation of design, the thoughtful use of materials and traditional craftsmanship.
